The American Chamber of Commerce, Amcham Singapore is the leading international business association in Singapore, David Adelman U.S. ambassador led volunteers from American organizations through events on Singapore’s Corporate Community Day to volunteer their time to give back to the community.
Activities included a mural painted by 50 colleagues from the Marsh and McLennan group of companies with 60 disadvantaged children from the Singapore Children’s Society Family Service Centre, later displayed at a gallery run by the non-profit group Social Creatives, bringing art to the public and community in Singapore.
The design of the mural “Success of Singapore” reflected the Corporate Community Day’s objective to give back to the community through corporate social responsibility initiatives and the spirit Americans and Singaporeans share, contributing positively with neighbours in the neighbourhood as responsible and compassionate members of the local community.
